MEMBERS MID-SUMMER SHOW

As part of our regular club meeting on June 17th we will holding our Annual Mid-Summer Show. The schedule is as follows
Class 1 - Rose: 1 specimen bloom.
Class 2 - Roses: 3 stems of any one type, in one vase.
Class 3 - Trees and/or Shrubs in flower: 1 or more kinds, in one vase.
Class 4 - Trees and/or Shrub foliage: 1 or more kinds in one vase.
Class 5 - Any Flowers not listed above: 3 stems of 1 variety, in one vase.
Class 6 - Any Flowers not listed above: 5 stems of more than one kind, in one vase.
Class 7 - A plate of soft fruit.
Entries will only be accepted from members of Eaton Bishop Gardening Club and must have been the Member's property for at least 3 months.
An entrant can submit up to THREE entries per class, but can win only ONE award of points in a class.
There will be no charge for entries.
Points will be awarded in each class as follows:-
1st place = 12 points, 2nd place = 9 points, 3rd place = 6 points, unplaced = 1 point for entering the class.

- 14th March (Saturday) Visit to Dymock and Kempley area to view Wild Daffodils
- 18th March The art of good Composting. - Speaker: Sue Mabberley
- 15th April Allensmore Nurseries -Speaker Abi Green
- 24th April (Friday) Visit to Crickhowell to view Bluebells, Wild Garlic and other Spring Bulbs
- 20th May Early Evening visit to Brobury House. Booking required. Cost £9. Refreshments available to buy. 6pm. *
- 17th June Irises for the Natural Garden - Speakers Jill and Alun Whithead and Members Mid Summer Show.
- 15th July Guided Garden Tour and Tea at Llanover Court. Booking required. Cost £20. 2.30pm.*
- 16th August (Sunday) Eaton Bishop Village Show
- 14th to 18th September Gardening Club Holiday - Visiting Hampshire and Dorset Area
- 21st October AGM followed by Wine and Cheese Social.
- 18th November Tree Pruning Speaker Nigel Payne.
- 11th December Christmas Social and Quiz
