At the end of week one the work of insulation of the East facing wall is, despite the freezing conditions, progressing well.
The wall plaster has been removed together with the old wooden panels. The Electricians have now completed their first fix, and the supporting framework is in position ready for the installation of the insulation next week.
The hall remains closed while works are in progress, but it is expected that the hall will be available for events and bookings at the end of January 2025.
