Thanks to everyone who contributed to making the 2026 Eaton Bishop Village Show a resounding success. There were an amazing number of exhibits given the very hot, dry weather we have been experiencing. There were a greater number of non-horticultural exhibits this year, making up for a slight reduction in the Vegetable, Fruit and Flower classes. Many people are involved including the exhibitors, judges, stewards, booking in team, paperwork coordinators, collators, certificate writers, door helpers, carpark helper, farmer who provides the field for the carpark (and moves the livestock), raffle team, indoor and outdoor set up team, kitchen helpers, kitchen cake makers and, of course, the members of the community who came to have tea and cake and see the results of the exhibitors’ efforts.
Thanks also to the generous donations of raffle prizes and sponsorship from The Moody Cow at Upton Bishop, The Comet Inn, Lock’s Garage, Kelly the Hairdresser, Allensmore Nurseries, Madley Plants, Waves Car Wash (Belmont Tesco), Jenny Price, Kath Watts, TeamEB, Clehonger Village Stores, Brenda and Pat, Tim and Valerie, David and Becky, Lorraine and Marshall.
We have already decided there will be an Eaton Bishop Village Show 2027.
